Product Description
The SUPT MOTION VCAR0011-0100-00A voice coil motor achieves an excellent balance between thrust and stroke, delivering 10.5 N of peak thrust and a total stroke of 10 mm—all integrated into a stator with a diameter of just 31 mm. This high-thrust-density voice coil motor is designed for applications requiring stable force application, such as precision dispensing, jet valves, and Z-axes in automated assembly.
The voice coil motor delivers 2.9 N of continuous thrust at 25°C and can withstand repeated dispensing cycles without overheating. A back-EMF constant of 3.5 V/m/s provides predictable speed feedback. With a voice coil weight of 20 g and a maximum operating voltage of 43.8 V, this motor is suitable for high-voltage servo drives.
In precision dispensing applications—such as adhesives, solder paste, or medical fluids—stable needle thrust ensures uniform dispensing volumes and prevents substrate damage. The VCAR0011-0100-00A features a direct-drive, gearless design that eliminates the stick-slip forces and backlash associated with lead screws or pneumatic systems, providing smooth, precise, and proportional motion control. Its 10 mm stroke accommodates a wide range of workpiece heights.
This voice coil motor performs exceptionally well in soft-landing pick-and-place applications, enabling precise control of the applied force and gentle contact with precision components. It helps improve yield rates in applications such as semiconductor chip mounting and LED placement.
Its cylindrical housing facilitates installation on gantry systems or multi-head assembly machines. It is the preferred choice of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for reliable, high-cycle-rate linear voice coil motors.
